We’re an innovative indie game development studio crafting groundbreaking VR adventure games. Our project blends narrative-driven gameplay with combat, platforming, and mind-bending puzzles. We aim to immerse players in a visually stunning world filled with compelling challenges and a gripping and immersive story that pushes the boundaries of VR.

Role Overview.

We’re looking for a highly skilled Game Engine Programmer who thrives on solving complex challenges and knows Unreal Engine inside and out. You’ll play a pivotal role in optimising our game’s performance, enhancing rendering pipelines, and ensuring the VR experience is as seamless and breathtaking as possible.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, debug, and optimise systems and tools using Unreal Engine with a focus on VR.
  • Design and implement efficient rendering pipelines and performance optimisations.
  • Have a good understanding of Unreal Engines profiling tools, render doc etc.
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to ensure assets and gameplay elements run smoothly in VR.
  • Tackle technical challenges with creative, scalable solutions.
  • Stay current on advancements in engine technology, rendering techniques, and optimisation strategies.
  • Mentor junior programmers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications :

  • Ideally 3+ years of experience in game engine programming with a strong focus on Unreal Engine.
  • Proficiency in C++, with a portfolio showcasing your technical expertise.
  • Deep understanding of rendering pipelines, shader programming, and performance optimisation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling technical challenges.
  • Experience with VR development and a commitment to delivering a flawless user experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

BONUS POINTS :

  • Familiarity with low-level engine systems, physics, or AI programming.
  • Experience optimising games for PC, consoles and or mobile vr.
  • Knowledge of advanced VR-specific rendering techniques.
  • Someone who regularly plays in VR and enjoys the technology.
