We’re an innovative indie game development studio crafting groundbreaking VR adventure games. Our project blends narrative-driven gameplay with combat, platforming, and mind-bending puzzles. We aim to immerse players in a visually stunning world filled with compelling challenges and a gripping and immersive story that pushes the boundaries of VR.

Role Overview.

We are seeking an innovative and creative Game Designer with expertise in Unreal Engine and a proven track record in level design. You will be at the heart of our project, shaping captivating environments and designing puzzles that push the boundaries of the imagination. Your work will be central to delivering an unforgettable VR experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Prototype, design and develop intricate and immersive levels in Unreal Engine tailored for VR.
  • Create innovative puzzles that challenge players’ creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with writers, game directors and art team to integrate story and aesthetics seamlessly into gameplay.
  • Work closely with programmers to ensure mechanics function smoothly and as expected within a VR environment.
  • Iterate on designs based on team and player feedback to optimise engagement and playability.
  • Stay up-to-date with VR trends, tools, and design principles to enhance player experience.

Qualifications :

  • Ideally a Bachelor of creative technologies, game art or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience in game design, with a focus on level and puzzle design.
  • High proficiency in Unreal Engine, with a portfolio showcasing your work on completed projects.
  • Strong understanding of VR development mechanics and optimisations.
  • A passion for crafting unique puzzles and engaging narrative-driven gameplay.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to feedback and iterate designs efficiently.

  • Experience and interest in creating VR environments and game mechanics.
  • A love for adventure games with narrative depth and emotional resonance.
  • Someone who regularly plays in VR and enjoys the technology.
